2.41" Fossil Great White Shark (Carcharodon) Tooth - South Carolina
This is a 2.41" long serrated fossil great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) tooth. It comes from the Hawthorn Formation in South Carolina which is Pliocene in age. These fossil great white teeth are much rarer than the megalodon teeth which they are found alongside.
