2.3" Dicranurus Trilobite - Atchana, Morocco

This is an very nice, 2.3" long specimen of Dicranurus monstrosus quarried from the Lhandar Formation at Atchana, Morocco. This is a rare trilobite to find complete which has led it to be one of more frequently faked Moroccan trilobites out there. This one is nicely preserved, perfectly prone with good preparation. The shell is in excellent condition, retaining the nodes on each axial ring that are often destroyed by poor preparation. Both the genal spines and horns are free standing.
