2.3" Cut & Polished Nautilus Pair - Madagascar

This is a cut and polished Nautilus fossil. The divisions between the chambers are clearly visible. It is Jurassic in age and was collected near Sakaraha, Madagascar.

Nautilus are "living fossils" in that species similar to this one still exist in our oceans.
