2.2" Macrocrinus From Crawforsville

This is an beautiful, 2.2" specimen of the crinoid Macrocrinus mundulus from the famous Crawfordsville crinoid locality, which has been collected by Tom Witherspoon for many years. Both the preservation and preparation of this very 3D crinoid fossil is fantastic. Crinoids don't get any better than the Crawfordsville material.

The Mississippian aged Edwardsville Formation exposed in Montgomery County, Indiana is world renown for it's amazing crinoids. There are over 60 known species from the formation and when properly prepared they are preserved in beautiful, 3D relief.
