2.2" Fossil Insect (Homoptera & Formicidae) Plate - Cereste, France
This is a fossil insect plate featuring a .20" long insect (suborder Homoptera) and a .16" long ant (family Formicidae), collected from an Oligocene-aged shale deposit near Cereste in Southern France. The ant measures .20" wide and shows some antenna and leg preservation.
