2.1" Well Preserved Coltraneia Trilobite - Awesome Eyes!

This is a superb example of the tower eyed trilobite Coltraneia oufatenensis. The eyes on this specimen are particularly nice, with hundreds of eye facets visible. The species has often been referred to as a a Treveropyge in the past but the correct genus is Coltraneia. This one has been prepared so that it appears to crawl over the matrix. No restoration.
