2.1" Rust-Red, Harpides Trilobite - Draa Valley, Morocco
This is a colorful, and I believe currently undescribed, species of Harpides trilobite from the Lower Fezouata Formation of Morocco. The red coloration on the edges of the trilobite and head-shield is due to the oxidization of iron pyrite that originally preserved the fossil. It's laid out prone, 2.1" long and nicely prepared.
