2.1" Hoploscaphites Ammonite and Baculites Association - South Dakota
This is a beautiful, 2.1" wide, iridescent Hoploscaphites brevis and Baculites compressus association from the Pierre Shale of South Dakota. It was found inside of a hard concretion and the rock had to be meticulously prepared away. The base of the rock is flat so that the piece displays nicely on a flat surface.
