2" Brown Pleuroceras Ammonite - Germany

This is a well preserved Pleuroceras spinatum ammonite fossil from Buttenhaim, Germany with a dark brown shell. These ammonites are Lower Jurassic in age, approximately 185 million years old. This specimen is a particularly well preserved example.
