15" Sauropod Dinosaur Ulna with Metal Stand - Azilal, Morocco
This is an ulna from the forelimb of a sauropodomorph dinosaur. It was collected from the Early Jurassic-aged Azilal Formation in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The ulna is 15" long, 6.45" wide at its proximal end, 3.5" wide at its distal end and on the stand the entire specimen is 15.75" tall. While it's heavily compressed and missing bone section along the proximal and distal ends, it's in overall good shape and only required minor gap fill restoration within a couple of the repaired cracks.
The Azilal Formation has produced enough material to indicate there are several sauropods present, however only one has been formally identified (Tazoudasaurus naimi). Because of this, we have left the species as unidentified.
Comes with a custom metal display stand.
