11.2" Theropod Limb Bone - Hell Creek Formation
This is a beautifully preserved, limb bone of a small theropod dinosaur from the Hell Creek Formation of Montana. It's 11.2" in length and was found in four pieces which were put back together with only small portions of the distal and proximal end missing. On one end you can see that the bone is hollow, a hallmark of theropod bones. It's possibly a radius, but there are several potential dinosaurs/raptors from the Hell Creek Formation it could be from.
It was collected this past summer in Powder River County Montana. The only restoration is some small gap fills in the repaired cracks.
