10.9" Cretaceous Fossil Gastropods (Turritella) In Limestone - Texas
This is an interesting piece of sea floor packed with gastropod (Turritella) fossils, collected from the Weno Formation of Grayson County, Texas. These fossils are Late Cretaceous in age or approximately 99.5 - 98.5 million years old.
Most of the rock has been left in its natural state and the snail fossils have been exposed around the "top" of the specimen.
Comes with an acrylic display stand.
