2.15" Bug-Eyed Coltraneia Trilobite - "Flying" Preparation

This is a gorgoues Coltraneia trilobite with amazing "tower eyes" full of hundreds of eye facets. The species has often been referred to as a Treveropyge in the past. This specimen is nicely prepared, with excellent shell preservation and nice eye facets in both eyes. Many of the pleural and tail spines have been prepared free of the matrix.

There is about 2% shell restoration along the repaired cracks.
