1.9" Ordovician Monoplacophoran (Gayneoconus) - Missouri
This is a 1.9" monoplacophoran (Gayneoconus sp.) from the Cambrian aged Eminence Formation in Missouri. The preservation is fairly decent for a cool little specimen. Monoplacophorans are univalved mollusks that bear a resemblance to limpets though are not closely related.
