1.9" Cretaceous Crocodilian Jaw Section - Hell Creek Formation
This is a nicely preserved fossil crocodilian jaw section from the 66 million year old Hell Creek Formation of Carter County, Montana. There is no repair or restoration to this jaw section, however the teeth are composite (from more than one crocodilian) and have been glued into place within the teeth sockets.
There are a number of genres of crocodiles and alligatoroids described from this formation with very similar teeth. Typically most of teeth found in this location just get assigned to Leidyosuchus by collectors.
This specimen comes with a richer display box.
