1.8" Thysanopeltis With Phacops Trilobite - Issoumour, Morocco
This is a cool, natural association of two different genus of trilobites from Mount Issoumour, Morocco. The larger specimen is a 2.5" long Thysanopeltis speciosa with it's distinctive fringe of spines around it's tail. Right next to it a a 1.1" phacopid trilobite, preserved on it's side. There is about 10% shell restoration on the Thysanopeltis along the repaired crack running through the left hand side of the body. No restoration on the phacopid.
