1.8" Red Crotalocephalus Trilobite - Jorf, Morocco

This is an excellent, Crotalocephalus (not to be confused with Crotacephalina) from Jorf, Morocco. It seems to have some affinities to Crotalocephalus africanus and maybe the same species, but I've only seen a handful of specimens from Jorf. The shell is actually translucent so the trilobite takes on the reddish/pink color of the rock below.
