Fossil Graptolite Cluster (Didymograptus) - Great Britain

This is a 1.8" plate of fossil Graptolites, from Wales, Great Britain. Graptolites are extinct, colony dwelling animals that strained water to feed on plankton. Each animal built a chamber, and these connected to form the colony. Different kinds of graptolite colonies had branches with different shapes. Comes with an acrylic stand.
