1.75" Quenstedticeras Ammonite Mounted on Base
This is an absolutely gorgeous, Quenstedticeras ammonite fossil from the Saratov Region of Russia. These ammonites are Middle Jurassic (Upper Callovian Stage) or approximately 161-164 million years old. It has a very brilliant iridescent shell.
It has been artistically mounted to a stone base, using ground up pyrite to create a gorgeous display.
