1.70" Partial Tyrannosaurid Tooth - Montana

This is a partial of a large Tyrannosaurid tooth from the Two Medicine Formation (Judith River Group) of Montana. It has pretty nice enamel preservation and fine serrations along the edges.

There are three described Tyrannosaurids from the Two Medicine Formation (Judith River Group), Albertosaurus, Gorgosaurus and Daspletosaurus. Their teeth of notoriously hard to tell apart with very minor differences. The size of this tooth rules out Albertosaurus, so it's a Daspletosaurus or Gorgosaurus.
