1.7" Heterodiadema Fossil Echinoid - Morocco

This is a nicely preserved specimen of the Upper Cretaceous echinoid (sea urchin), Heterodiadema libyca. It is completely removed from the surrounding limestone and comes from near Taouz in the Southern Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
