This is a small section of a fossil turtle shell, collected from the Lance Formation in Forsyth, Montana. It's likely a section of a Pan-Trionychidae (soft-shelled) type turtle shell, which is common from this formation. Due to the diversity of pan-trionychids, i'm uncertain of a specific species for this shell section.
