1.6" Crotalocephalus (“Cyrtometopus”) - Scarce Species
This is a fairly scarce species of Crotalocephalus from Morocco. It has a pair of distinctive projections coming out of the front of it's cephalon. In the past it's been labeled as Cyrtometopus but it's most likely a species of the Crotalocephalus genus. It is arched but would be about 1.6" long if outstretched. The genal spines have been prepared free of the surrounding limestone.
