1.6" Crotalocephalus (“Cyrtometopus”) - Nice Preparation

This is an excellent example of a fairly scarce species of Crotalocephalus from Morocco. It has a pair of distinctive projections coming out of the front of it's cephalon. In the past it's been labeled as Cyrtometopus but it's most likely a species of the Crotalocephalus genus. The one is folded over but would be about 1.6" long it outstretched. The preparation on this specimen is excellent with excellent shell detail and no restoration.
