1.5" Ordovician Monoplacophoran (Proplina) - Missouri
This is a 1.5" monoplacophoran (Proplina sp.) from the Ordovician aged Gasconde Formation in Missouri. The preservation is fairly nice on a cool little specimen. Monoplacophorans are univalved mollusks that bear a resemblance to limpets though are not closely related.
