1.5" Fossil Pika (Prolagus) Partial Skull - France

This is a nicely preserved partial skull from an extinct genus of pika (Prolagus sp.) that was collected from the Lower Pleistocene of France. It came out of an old collection we acquired, and unfortunately no more specific information was recorded with the specimen.

Most of this skull is still in decent position, though portions of it required glue stabilization.
