This is a 1.4" fossil horsetail (Equisetum) from the Green River Formation, Utah. This specimen is the stalk, two nodes and the tendrils that grow at the nodes.
While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.
