1.4" Fossil Echinoid (Heteraster) - Spain

This is a beautiful fossil urchin of the species Heteraster oblongus, from the Cretaceous period. It was found near Tervel, Spain. This urchin measures 1.4" in length and is in decent condition, though there is some obvious deformation from the pressure of the surrounding rock.
