1.38" Hoploscaphites Plenus Ammonite - Montana

This is a 1.38" wide Hoploscaphites plenus from the Pierre Shale of Montana. It was found in a hard concretion and all of the rock surrounding it was removed. There are several repaired cracks in the specimen. The base has been cut flat so the ammonite displays nicely on any flat surface.
