1.35" Ordovician Cephalopod (Levisoceras) - Missouri
This is a 1.35" cephalopod (Levisoceras sp.) from the Ordovician aged Gasconade Formation in Missouri. The preservation is fairly nice on this cool little specimen. This type of cephalopod is related to the modern Nautilus. The specimen features a second partial Levisoceras that measures 1.2" long.
