1.28" Chubutensis Tooth From Maryland - Megalodon Ancestor
This is a 1.28" long fossil shark tooth collected at Calvert Cliffs, Maryland. Some people might consider it Carcharocles chubutensis, or a very early/transitional Megalodon tooth due to the presence of small cusps in the corners. The tooth is in overall great shape and has sharp serrations.
