1.25" Stem with Two Samara (Winged Seeds) Fossils - Utah
These are two beautifully preserved fossil winged seed pods of Cedrelospermum nervosum that are still attached to their stem. The specimen was collected from the Green River Formation in Uintah County, Utah. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora selection.
