1.2" Plesiosaur (Libonectes?) Tooth - Asfla, Morocco
This is a rare, Plesiosaur (Elasmosaur) tooth from the Upper Cretaceous Akrabou Formation near Asfla, Goulmima, Morocco. The tooth may belong to the Elasmosaur species, Libonectes atlasense that is relatively specific to this area. It's 1.2" in length and has beautiful striations running down the crown. The tooth is partially exposed from the rock it was found in and an acrylic stand is included for optimal display.
