1.2" Hoploscaphites Ammonite Fossil - Wyoming

This is a specimen of the ammonite Hoploscaphites from the the Pierre Shale of Wyoming. It's been nicely prepared from the hard limestone concretion it was found in and displays nicely. The base has been cut flat so the ammonite displays nicely without the need of a stand.
