1.2" Fossil Shrimp (Peachocaris) Nodule (Pos/Neg) - Illinois

This is a 1.2" long fossil shrimp (Peachocaris strongi) that's preserved in an ironstone nodule, collected from the Carbondale Formation near Essex, Illinois. Both the positive and negative halves of this nodule are included.
