1.1" Spiny Leonaspis Trilobite - Great Prep

Here is a nicely prepared, spiny Leonaspis trilobite of the family Odontopleuridae from Morocco. The dramatic spines are well preserved, you can see the small stalk eyes poking up above it's head. The shell is in much better shape and more detailed than most specimens from Morocco, thanks to superb preparation. You can even see the rows of tiny tubercles running down the thorax, a feature often air abraded away.
