Polished Dalmatian Jasper Worry Stones - 1.5" Size

Worry stones are smooth, polished stones, usually in the shape of an oval, with a thumb-sized indentation. They are often used by people for relaxation or anxiety relief purposes, the same way as some people use a fidget spinner. Typically, worry stones are 1 1/2 to 2 inches across. They may also be referred to as palm stones, thumb stones, fidget stones, etc.

This is polished dalmatian stone, also commonly known as "dalmatian jasper". We refer to is as dalmatian stone since it isn't a true jasper at all, but is in fact an igneous rock composed of arfvedsonite, albite, and quartz. It features black spots of arfvesonite surrounded by a mixture of white albite and quartz. It resembles the spotted hair and skin pattern of a Dalmatian dog, hence where it earned its name.
