WULFENITE CRYSTALS SPECIMENS

Wulfenite is a striking mineral known for its vibrant colors and crystal formations, often found in shades of bright orange, yellow, and red, though it can also occur in brown or green hues. It is a lead molybdate mineral, typically crystallizing in the tetragonal system. Wulfenite forms thin, tabular, and often square crystals with a resinous to adamantine luster, making it highly desirable among mineral collectors. Its crystals are usually translucent, allowing light to pass through and enhance its vivid coloration. Wulfenite has been known to have fluorescent qualities under shortwave and longwave UV lighting. The most important localities of wulfenite come from mines in Arizona, Mexico, and Morocco.
