BAHIANITE SPECIMENS
Bahianite is a rare aluminum antimonate mineral that's structurally related to simpsonite. Its name refers to the State of Bahia, Brazil, from within which state the initial specimens were found. Bahianite is has a hardness of 9 on the Mohs hardness scale. The other minerals with the same hardness include corundum (the reference stone of Mohs' scale of hardness), bromellite, karelianite, kharambaevite, and nierite.
