MARTIAN METEORITES - NWA 15200 FOR SALE
Martian meteorites are rocks that formed on Mars before getting ejected by impact events, traveling through space, and landing on Earth as meteorites. These meteorites are interpreted as Martian in origin because these have elemental and isotopic compositions similar to rocks and atmospheric gasses on Mars.
NWA 15200 is a very rare nakhlite Martian meteorite found in Algeria in 2022, with a total known mass of only 196 grams. Its fragments are characterized by a striking dark fusion crust, which displays regmaglypts that encircle colorful interior clasts in shades of green, cream, and orange-brown.
