6.7" Polished Green-White Opal Slab - Western Australia
This is a cut/polished section of common green opal with small, black dendritic inclusions. This form of common opal comes from a location south of Kalgoorlie in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. The beautiful green coloration is caused by traces of nickel and/or chromium within the mineralization.
