Kettneraspis Prescheri Trilobite - Boutchrafin, Morocco

Note: The description of the trilobite has been changed to reflect updated trilobite descriptions. The species has been changed from Leonaspis spinicurva to Kettneraspis? prescheri.

This is a beautiful example of the trilobite Kettneraspis? prescheri with it's distinctive large, fat occipital spine. It comes from the Timrhanrhart Formation and was collected near Boutchrafin, Morocco. Excellent preparation on this gorgeous little Odontopleurid with the large spine prepared free-standing. No restoration on this specimen.
