Large Enrolled Drotops Trilobite On Pedestal

This is a large, perfectly enrolled specimen of the trilobite Drotops megalomanicus which has been prepared so that it rests on a free-standing pillar of matrix. It's 2.72" wide and over 6" around the curve. It has great detail with good eye facet preservation and all the small bumps on it's shell preserved. It has a naturally multi-toned appearance due both to the the many calcite seams running through the rock and some weathering to the right side. There is about 2-3% shell restoration, some patches on the first few axial rings and a small patch on the left side of the head.
