Huge 3.5" Paralejurus Trilobite - Great Specimen

At 3.5" long this is a monster specimen of Paralejurus from Issoumour, Morocco. This trilobite averages around 2 inches in length. Not only is it large but it's perfectly prone, well inflated and prepared. The hundreds of tiny eye facets are even preserved and can be seen particularly well in the left eye (check out the zoomed in photo!). The limestone around the trilobite has been shaped so that it displays quite nicely with the tail free-standing.

There is some minor shell restoration along a repaired crack in the tail and few touchups of surface scratches on the head.
