Leonaspis And Crotalocephalina Association

It's not that often that you get two different trilobite species associated on a single piece, in particularly nice specimens like this. There is a large and spiny Leonaspis sp. right next to a large Crotalocephalina trilobite. This piece was collected at Issoumour, Morocco and was expertly prepared so the trilobites are aesthetically displayed on a free-standing pedestal of matrix. There is a repaired crack but no significant restoration work on either trilobite.
