Colorful Arched Paralejurus Trilobite - 2.5"
This is a nice example of the Corynexochida trilobite, Paralejurus. It has a naturally multi-toned preservation and would be about 2 1/2" long if fully outstretched. The matrix around it has been painstakingly removed using airscribes to reveal the detailed shell. There is great shell detail on this specimen including the destinctive terrace lines on the tail and even the hundreds of tiny eye facets. There is about 5% shell restoration on this specimen.
