.95" Diademaproetus Trilobite - Foum Zguid, Morocco

This is a nice specimen of the Proetida trilobite Diademaproetus praecursor from the Lower-Middle Devonian of Morocco. It displays the diagnostic features of this species including a granulose cephalon and long swept-back genal spines. It comes from the lower part of the Timrhanrhart Formation near Foum Zguid, Morocco.

It was prepared nicely with both the genal spines free-standing.
