3D, Russian Asaphus Lepidurus Trilobite - 2.47"

This is a very 3D asaphid trilobite, Asaphus lepidurus. It was quarried near the Wolchow River in Russia at the Putilovo quarry. The specimen is 2.47" long which is about average size for the species and laid out nice and prone. Like nearly all of the Asaphus specimens from these quarries there is some shell restoration, about 5% mainly on the tail.
