2.95" Prone Asaphus Plautini Trilobite Fossil - Russia
This is a 2.95" long, asaphid trilobite (Asaphus plautini) fossil from the St. Petersburg Region of Russia. It was found at the Vilpovitsy quarry and is Lower Ordovician in age, or approximately 460 million years old.
There is very minimal shell restoration along repaired fractures in the shell.
