2.4" 3D Asaphus Plautini Trilobite Fossil - Russia
This is a 2.4" long, asaphid trilobite (Asaphus plautini) fossil from the St. Petersburg Region of Russia. It was found at the Vilpovitsy quarry and is Lower Ordovician in age, or approximately 460 million years old.
The specimen has a little bit of crushing, but the shell coloration is beautiful with almost no shell restoration.
